LDS Officials FREAK OUT and Call Cops! | Liberty Troll's EPIC Showdown
Liberty Troll is a First Amendment auditor who stress-tests freedom of the press by peacefully recording in public places. In this episode, he visits a meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and what happens next is something you have to see to believe.
Church officials become visibly uncomfortable with a man standing on a public sidewalk holding a camera, and before long, multiple police officers are called to the scene. Was this a reasonable response, or a complete overreaction? We'll break down the most dramatic moments from Liberty Troll's encounter and examine how everyone involved handled the situation.
But that's only half the story.
Also featured is an LDS elder who attempts to explain away some of Mormonism's most controversial and unusual doctrines. From questionable apologetics to awkward rationalizations, the conversation quickly turns into a masterclass in cringe-worthy mansplaining. Whether you find it persuasive or painfully embarrassing, it's definitely entertaining.
We'll analyze the interaction, review the highlights, and discuss what it reveals about free speech, public accountability, and the challenges of defending controversial religious claims in the internet age.
Watch the full episode and decide for yourself: Did the church representatives respect Liberty Troll's constitutional rights, or did they completely miss the mark?
