Mormon News Roundup does not collect personal data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising identifier use in the current App Store build described by this policy, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

Mormon News Roundup is an independent news aggregator app and website. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, sell, or share:

Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Location
Contacts, photos, or other device content
Advertising identifiers (IDFA) for tracking
Analytics, usage telemetry, or crash reports sent to us
Payment card details (none are processed by us)

Data kept only on your device

The app may store small amounts of information locally on your device (for example, whether you have dismissed the welcome screen, and a cached copy of the news feed for offline use). This information stays on the device and is not sent to us.

News feed requests

To show headlines, the app downloads public JSON feed files from our static hosting (currently GitHub Pages). Those requests are ordinary HTTPS downloads of public files. We do not operate a user database behind that feed.

Links to third-party sites

Tapping a story opens the original publisher’s website, video, podcast page, or Reddit post. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and practices. Mormon News Roundup is not responsible for content or data collection on sites we link to.

Children

The app is intended for adults (17+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Future changes (ads / purchases)

If we later enable advertising (for example Google AdMob) or an optional remove-ads purchase, this policy will be updated before those features ship, and the App Store privacy labels will be revised to match.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
