THE ANGEL – A Folk Horror Film Inspired by Polygamy (Official Preview)
As Latter-day Saints around the world study Doctrine & Covenants Sections 129 and 132, we’re releasing a special preview of THE ANGEL, a folk horror short film produced by @the.arch.hive and @burgindiepictures.
D&C 129’s angelic “handshakes,” the sealing power, the threat of shedding innocent blood, and the revelation on plural marriage all helped inspire the tone and themes of this story.
Watch the preview, then ask yourself:
What happens when scripture becomes ritual—
and ritual becomes horror?
📜 Inspired by: D&C 129 & 132
🎥 A film by Burg Indie Pictures
🕯️ Produced with The Arch-Hive
