Make It a Trillion? The LDS Church’s Betrayal of Christ’s Teachings

Watch on YouTube

"Make it a Trillion" has become a rallying cry among some LDS members as the church’s total valuation nears $300 billion. But is this true righteousness—or a worship of Mammon disguised as faith?

Jesus declared, *“You cannot serve God and Mammon.”* (Matthew 6:24) Yet rather than using its immense fortune to serve the poor, the LDS Church continues hoarding wealth at an accelerating pace. While members boast of financial expansion, Christ’s teachings demand generosity, humility, and service—not stockpiling billions.

Would Jesus have ever said, *“Make it a Trillion”*? Or would He have condemned such devotion to wealth?

This episode exposes how cheering for a trillion-dollar Mormon Church is not faithfulness—it’s a betrayal of Christ’s core message. If Latter-day Saints truly followed Jesus, they would demand the church use its fortune to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and heal the sick.
