By Their Fruits (1963)
Link: https://youtu.be/_x1lA1nZuoc
Running time: 25 minutes
Rating: G
Genre: Religious Drama
We will watch this short together while I provide insightful and occasionally irreverent commentary.
Synopsis Modern parable wherein three LDS Sunday School teachers have different priorities and therefore divergent teaching effectiveness. This was an official Brigham Young University film, commissioned by the Deseret Sunday School Union. It was produced by Judge Whitaker and the dance sequences were directed by Virginia Tanner. Narrated mostly by Rex Campbell
The film opens on a parable in the style of Jesus in the New Testament, similar to the parable of the Bad Tenants found in three of the Gospels. I hope you enjoy it.
